Integrative medicine for complex illness and neurodivergence
Dr Dani Gordon is the founder and medical director of the London Resilience Clinic, where she cares for children and adults with complex, overlapping chronic illness and neurodivergence. Her patient population includes ADHD, autism and AuDHD; fibromyalgia, hypermobility and MCAS.
Her treatment approach includes functional-medicine testing, cannabinoid medicine and nervous-system regulation alongside medication management — personalised to each person, rather than a one-size-fits-all, pills-only plan.

Background
Dr Gordon began her medical career in Vancouver, Canada in 2011, after training in family medicine at the University of British Columbia, and developed a practice specialising in the complex chronic conditions that conventional care struggled with — including chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, chronic pain and mental health conditions.
In 2012 she became board-certified by the American Board of Integrative & Holistic Medicine (ABIHM) — one of the youngest doctors to do so — and in 2017 was certified by the American Board of Integrative Medicine (ABOIM), when integrative medicine became the newest American Board of Physician Specialties (ABPS) speciality.
Her practice developed deep experience in evidence-based non-drug approaches — including nutrition and functional medicine, mindbody medicine studied at Harvard, and cannabinoid medicine.

Bringing cannabinoid medicine to the UK
Cannabinoid medicines were legalised in the UK in 2018, but few doctors had any experience prescribing them. Holding a UK passport, Dr Gordon relocated to London and quickly became the country’s leading clinical expert — helping to establish the first UK cannabinoid medicine clinic, training the UK’s first cannabinoid-medicine specialists, and becoming a founding member and vice-chair of the UK Medical Cannabis Clinicians Society.
Her work has been widely featured in the national media, most often for her expertise in cannabinoid and integrative medicine.

Founding the London Resilience Clinic
In 2020 Dr Gordon founded the London Resilience Clinic. Over time it developed a large neurodivergent patient population — autism, ADHD and AuDHD, and the conditions that so often travel with them, including the EDS, hypermobility and MCAS crossover.
Neurodivergent patients are typically sensitive to medication, or have few effective medication options — but tend to respond positively to cannabinoid and functional-medicine approaches, in adults and children alike. And because Dr Gordon trained in family medicine before specialising in integrative medicine, and sees both children and adults, she can hold the whole overlapping picture across the lifespan — the breadth that complex, multi-system patients need and rarely find.

Frequently asked questions
Yes. Dr Gordon is a fully qualified medical doctor registered with the General Medical Council (GMC number 7818491), and is double board-certified in integrative medicine (ABIHM in 2012 and ABOIM in 2017, accredited by the American Board of Physician Specialties). She uses the active designations MD, ABIHM.
Because Dr Gordon trained in family medicine before specialising in integrative medicine, she is equipped to assess any condition, in children and adults alike, and to see how those conditions connect — rather than treating one condition or one age group in isolation. That breadth is exactly what complex, overlapping chronic illness and neurodivergence require.
She is a world-leading authority in integrative and cannabinoid medicine and one of the UK’s most experienced cannabinoid clinicians — she trained many of the UK’s cannabinoid doctors, has spoken at the UN and Downing Street, and is the international author of The CBD Bible and The Resilience Blueprint. She now applies that expertise to complex chronic illness and neurodivergence.
Complex, multi-system chronic conditions — chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, chronic pain, MCAS, EDS, long covid and mould illness — and mental health conditions and neurodivergence (ADHD, autism and AuDHD), across children, teenagers and adults.
Care at the London Resilience Clinic is delivered by Dr Gordon and her specialist medical team, much of it by secure video consultation across the UK. Please contact the clinic to book an initial consultation.
